Dr. Nitin Salgotra, a renowned medical expert from India has been on a working visit in Sierra Leone with a view and thrust to establish collaborations and to improve medical services.

The highly recommended medical doctor is a part of the International Relations department of the Yashoda Hospitals, Hyderabad, India.

Speaking to Expo Times, Dr. Salgotra said that Sierra Leone could learn a great deal from India, adding that their medical services are far advanced and that the rates are affordable and competitive. He said that since his arrival in the country, he has been engaging the Ministry of Health, including visiting and inspecting services of some hospitals, including, but not limited to the popular Connaught hospital in Freetown.

He said that with enhanced collaboration, Sierra Leonean medical doctors and superintendents could gain valuable insights from India and thus come back home to aid in improving the medical situations and conditions in the country.

He encouraged interested persons to feel free and to visit India at their convenience, adding that reception and medical delivery will be top-notch.
