While the official rate for 2022 shows a marginal dip to 3.27%, the stark truth lies in the vast swathes of the population categorized as the “working poor.” This sobering term encapsulates individuals who, despite being employed, grapple with wages plunging below the poverty line, indicative of a broader issue of underemployment and economic instability.
