INTERCEPTS College on Saturday, 11th April 2026, proudly held its first graduation and second matriculation ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s academic journey.
The well-attended ceremony brought together college authorities, stakeholders, parents, students, and members of the Rokupr community to witness the dual event of graduating successful students and officially admitting new ones into the college.
During the occasion, key stakeholders delivered statements emphasizing the importance of education and the college’s commitment to academic excellence. The Registrar, Musa Salim Turay, highlighted the progress of the institution and encouraged students to remain dedicated to their studies. The Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Salim Kamara, reaffirmed the college’s mission to provide quality and accessible education.
The College Principal, Ibrahim Ahmed Bangura, also addressed the gathering, urging both graduating and matriculating students to uphold discipline, hard work, and integrity. The Guest Speaker, Dr. Lamin Ibrahim Kamara, delivered an inspiring speech, stressing the role of education in personal development and national growth.
A major highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of awards and certificates to outstanding students. Saidu Amadu Kamara of HTC Secondary was honored as the Best Graduating Male Student, while Aminata Tankayika Kargbo of Public Health received the award for Best Graduating Female Student. Fatmata Tidyman Kargbo, also from the Public Health department, was recognized as the Best Behaved, Regular, and Punctual Student. In addition, general certificates were presented to all graduating students in recognition of their successful completion of their respective programs.
The ceremony concluded on a joyful note, as graduates were celebrated by their families, friends, and community members. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and pride, reflecting the strong bond between INTERCEPTS College and the Rokupr community.
This landmark event underscores the college’s growing impact in Kambia District and its dedication to nurturing future leaders through education.
