Some candidates of the just released West African Secondary School Certificate Examination have expressed optimism ahead of the commencement of the new university academic year.
Even with the high hopes and optimism, some of them are however pessimistic, whiles others are dissatisfied with certain systems and processes. On of such persons is Abu Bakarr Conteh who expressed his dissatisfaction with the manner and means in which the West African Examination Council (WAEC) treated him, by ceasing his results. Wanting a dire justification, Conteh cannot tell or understand why such a problem should face him. He is poised to study at Fourah Bay College, but current trends suggest otherwise.
For Abibatu Koroma, the examination is a means of entering into the university and she cannot be prouder of securing more than five credits.
