Dr. Kargbo, your kindness is not just spoken of it is felt. You have quietly and powerfully lifted students from hopelessness, sheltered the homeless, defended the voiceless, and stood for peace when others chose silence.

From the Savage and Black families, we join hands and voices to say, Peace that surpasses understanding be yours always, Joy that multiplies in your presence and echoes in every life you touch, Purpose that never fades, no matter how many birthdays pass, and love that surrounds you, every step of the way

You are not only a helper you are hope in human form, a light in Sierra Leone’s darkness. A rock to lean on. A true son of the soil, as you celebrate this special day, know this: you are deeply appreciated today, tomorrow, and always, continue to inspire, empower, and lead with the humility and grace that define you.
