A DEFENDANT, Moray Fofanah a farmer of Njabahun village in the Southern Region has on August 4, 2026, arraigned before His Worship, Magistrate Alhaji Sulaiman Koroma of Magistrate Court No.1 in Bo on one count charge of Murder.
Morray Fofanah was charged to Court for Murder Contrary to Section 1 of the Offences against the persons Act 1861 as repealed and replaced by the first scheduled of Abolition of the Death Penalty Act 2022.
According to Court records, a Defendant, Moray Fofanah on July 5, 2026 at Njabahun village, Badjia Chiefdom in the Bo Judiciary District in the Southern Provence of Sierra Leone, Murdered Moinya Fofanah. No plea was taken and he was remanded at the Sierra Leone Correctional Centre (SLCC)in Bo. The matter was adjourned for preliminary investigation ( PI).
In another development, Aminata Koroma alias Jeneba Bassay, Ibrahim Bassay and Hafeezu Koroma all of Sanako in Bo City, arrainged before Magistrate Alhaji Sulaiman Koroma for Conspiracy and Attempted Human Trafficking Contrary to Section 28 of the Anti-human Trafficking Act No.12 of 2022.
The three Defendants on July 1, 2026, at Koribondo Town in the Jaima Chiefdom in the Bo Judiciary District in the Southern Provence of Sierra Leone, Conspired with unknown individuals to commit a felony to wit Human Trafficking.
On the afformentioned date and Venue, did attempted to traffic Agnes Kamara. No.plea was taken and the three Defendants were remanded at the Sierra Leone Correctional Centre (SLCC)in Bo. The matter was adjourned for preliminary investigation (PI).
The matters were prosecuted by Police Inspector, Abdul Karim Kamara alias AKK attached to the Legal and Justice Support Department in the Bo Police Division.
