His Excellency, Dr. Morie Komba Manyeh, High Commissioner of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, has received an illustrious Award from the Chartered Institute of Peace and Governance (CIPG), headquartered in Texas, USA.
This distinguished event occurred during the just concluded Pan African Leadership Symposium & Honours event in Kigali, Rwanda.
The award seeks to provide recipients with additional knowledge and skills platform to build capacity in the use of non-violent methods and in the development of effective tools to foster peace processes.
They would be empowered to exchange research information with a web of professionals and expand networking opportunities through sharing of ideas and experience aimed at promoting Peace research, training, and capacity building in Governance and Diplomatic Relations.
Dr. Morie Manyeh, a man blessed with a wealth of decades of experience in academic and governance sectors, is a revered national figure and an internationally endorsed man of peace and tranquillity.
In April 2022, Dr. Manyeh was recognised as an “Ambassador for Peace” by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) in London.
The latest award from the CIPG underscores a lifelong commitment to promoting societal harmony and peaceful coexistence.
The Pan African Leadership Symposium & Honours ((PALESH) is more than just an event; it is a meeting point of great ideas, a venerable gathering of positive minds, and a celebration of concerted efforts that seek to make tangible differences on the African continent.
