Evangelist Alfred Kobba, Deputy Executive Chairman of the Petroleum Regulatory Agency (PRA) in Sierra Leone, has safely arrived in the United States of America for a short-term specialized training program at Harvard University. His enrolment at Harvard is part of a strategic endeavor aimed at enhancing his expertise in specific areas crucial to advancing the PRA’s regulatory functions within the petroleum industry.
The Deputy Executive Chairman’s decision to pursue advanced training at Harvard University aligns with President Bio’s broader objective of human capacity development, fostering professional excellence within regulatory bodies in the country.
The specialized training program at Harvard University presents Evangelist Kobba with an exceptional opportunity to gain insights into cutting-edge practices and innovative approaches relevant to petroleum regulation and industry oversight. This experience will empower him to leverage best practices and implement strategic initiatives within the PRA, thereby enhancing the organization’s ability to effectively regulate and monitor activities in the petroleum industry.
Meanwhile, he is expected to return home to Sierra Leone shortly after his studies to host one of the biggest peace Gospel Musical Festivals in the country, scheduled for April 14, 2024, at the Bo City Shopping Plaza.
The festival will feature soul-stirring performances by various church choirs, gospel musicians, and special guests, all coming together to offer songs of praise and thanksgiving to the Almighty. It will be an opportunity to bask in the presence of God, rejoice in His blessings, and connect with fellow Sierra Leoneans in a spirit of love and harmony.
The aforementioned festival is equally geared towards celebrating the life and musical ministry of Evangelist Alfred Kobba, whose dedication and talent have touched countless hearts over the years.
