Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President Babadi Kamara has inspected the ongoing installation of seats at the new 435-seater pavilion at the SLFA Technical Centre, expressing satisfaction with the steady progress of the landmark infrastructure project.

During the inspection, President Kamara praised the quality of work being carried out and encouraged the construction team to maintain high standards while ensuring the project is completed within the scheduled timeframe.

The state-of-the-art pavilion, valued at more than US$250,000, is a personal donation by President Kamara. The project reflects his continued commitment to strengthening football infrastructure and creating modern facilities that support the growth and development of the sport across Sierra Leone.

Upon completion, the new pavilion will provide comfortable and modern seating for spectators, players, match officials, and invited guests during football matches, training sessions, and football development programmes hosted at the SLFA Technical Centre.

Speaking during the inspection, President Kamara reaffirmed his belief that investing in quality sporting infrastructure is essential to creating an environment where players can develop their talents and where football can thrive at all levels.

The pavilion project is regarded as another significant milestone in the SLFA’s efforts to modernize football facilities nationwide. It also highlights President Kamara’s vision of building sustainable infrastructure that will benefit players, clubs, officials, and football supporters for many years to come.

As work continues, the project is expected to further enhance the capacity of the SLFA Technical Centre, reinforcing its role as a hub for football training, competitions, and talent development in Sierra Leone.
