The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has disclosed that it has commenced probing into corruption allegations relating to the management of the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) and the Femab Properties of Lagos, Nigeria concerning a Fifty Million United States Dollar project for the construction of a new campus in Bureh Town in the Western Area Rural District.

In a press release dated 27th August 2024, the antigraft agency said the investigation followed a publication in the AFRICA CONFIDENTIAL August 2024 publication in which the said corruption allegations were made.

“The Commission further wishes it to be known that after a careful review of the publication, it has commenced forensic investigation into the allegations. In this regard, the Commission wishes to reassure the public of its commitment to take prompt action against corruption anywhere and to address all levels of corruption in Sierra Leone,” ACC said in the press release.

The issue has gained momentum in the last few days as the public awaits the outcome of the investigation by the Anti-Corruption Commission.
