As we approach the critical 2028 elections, Sierra Leone stands at a defining crossroads. This is more than just another election it is a decisive moment that will shape the future of our nation. The stakes are high, and the SLPP must rise above division, personal ambition, and short-term interests. Now more than ever, our party needs courageous, strategic, and unwavering leadership at its core to confront and defeat the APC and their foreign-supported agenda for regime change.
Honourable Paran Tarawalie is the leader we need for this moment, His loyalty to the SLPP is unquestionable, his strategic thinking is proven, and his commitment to democratic values is unmatched, time and again, he has demonstrated his ability to uphold the party’s principles and protect its interests across the country, with Paran Tarawalie as our National Secretary-General, we can be confident that no amount of manipulation, intimidation, or electoral fraud will undermine our position in 2028.
He knows the opposition intimately. He understands their tactics, their backers, and their disinformation campaigns. We cannot afford to gamble on inexperience or weakness. A misstep in leadership now could return SLPP to the opposition a mistake we must not allow. History has taught us painful lessons, especially from the setbacks of the 1970s. We must not allow history to repeat itself.

Let us be guided by wisdom, not sentiment; by vision, not vanity. Competence must prevail over comfort.
