In a bid to progress with the homicide matter involving a famous Lebanese businessman in Kenema, Salim Alim Dayeck, the Regional Criminal Investigations Department (RCID) of the Sierra Leone police on Sunday, September 15th, 2024, conducted an identification parade at the main lockup facility, Kenema Police Station.
The exercise was led by ASP Feika of the Regional Criminal Investigation Department, Kenema. Preceding, Mr. Feika maintained that the identification was conducted to aid the police in the guest for justice to be served and to satisfy the investigation standard procedure. He affirmed that the process was to help pinpoint suspects in the incident and exonerate the innocent.
During the process, suspect Umaru Sama who has been in custody as one of the suspects helping the police with investigation, identified two other suspects, Murray Vandi Farma, known as “One Bus,” and Juana Kallon, known as “Chapper”, as accomplices in the crime. The three suspects are currently in police custody, cooperating with the investigation.
The police underscored the significance of giving useful information that will lead to the apprehension of the perpetrators, ensuring justice.
