The Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA), through Freetown Terminal Limited (FTL), is set to transfer $8 million to the Government of Sierra Leone as dividend for 2025.

This marks a steady increase in remittances over the years ($4M in 2023, $7M in 2024, and now $8M in 2025) reflecting improved financial performance driven by ongoing reforms and modernization.

SLPHA continues to play a key role in supporting national development, with funds contributing to infrastructure, maritime security, and public services.

Additionally, a $25 million rehabilitation of berths 3, 4, 5, and 6 is underway at the Freetown Port, funded by FTL under its concession agreement.
