Leicester Road Community has one of the most dangerous roads. Many people have reportedly lost their lives on such roads. Residents in the community are calling on government to come to their aid and construct their deplorable roads.

Junior Alimamy Kamara, a bike rider, told this medium that if the roads are not constructed, there will continue to be accidents and loss of lives, citing a rect accident that claimed two lives.

“As bike riders, we have tried our best to do some work on the road, but we still need the help of the government and humanitarian organizations,” he said.

FatmataKondeh, a member of the community expressed her dissatisfaction with the bad road, that is leading her to miscarry and also lose her husband, she is calling on the general public to help them in that place. She continued to encourage women in the community to be careful especially those who are pregnant to be very careful while they are walking on that highway. She added that they have been calling on the government and the sorry heart organization but there is no help.

Aloha Vicent, Chairman of Bike Rider for the Modern Junction, said that as a leader he has organized some biker riders to maintain that highway road that is giving them a problem, so that it may not give them problems or careless accidents the riders, he added by saying that during the raining season, the place will add more to spoil and holds are also open widely in the community he said.
