The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has allocated funds from Government of Sierra Leone towards the establishment of rice agro-hub for improved agricultural services in Mambolo, and Kycheon and intends to apply a portion of this funding for the construction of two (2) 50,000 MT storage facility in Mambolo and Kycheon

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding Procedures as specified in the Rules and Regulations Governing Public Procurement in Sierra Leone and will be opened to businesses that meet the eligibility and qualification requirements stipulated in the Invitation for Bids in the Bidding Document.

Bidding is open to all who can demonstrate the financial capability and the requisite experience with track record of over three (3) years in civil work.

Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address below between 10am to 4pm on Monday’s to Friday’s during the bidding period.  Bidding documents may be purchased upon payment of a non-refundable fee of SLL1, 500.00 to the Treasury Single Account at the Bank of Sierra Leone with details as shown;

Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address below between 10am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 8^th October, 2024. All bids must be accompanied by:

• A valid Business registration certificate
• Evidence of financial capacity in the form of a Line of Credit amounting to SLE 500,000.00 from a reputable Commercial Bank only.
• Bid security of Le 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Leones only) from a reputable Commercial Bank
• A valid tax clearance certificate;
• A valid NASSIT clearance certificate;
• A valid city council clearance certificate
• A valid Class A work certificate
• A signed Integrity Pact; [see attached]

Bids shall be opened publicly on Tuesday at 1:05pm GMT on 8^th October, 2024; in the presence of bidders’ representatives for bidders who chooses to attend. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to bidder.
