Some people in Lungi. Kaffu Bullom Chiefdom have said that the electricity situation at the north-western region is still challenging. They said that for over two weeks and counting, they have not had the opportunity to have access to electricity.

Speaking to Expo Times, some of them said that the situation has greatly been affecting them and noted that little or nothing has been done to improve conditions.

‘We are in a situation of regret because we currently run at a loss especially for us as business people’ says Isatu Sesay a trader at the Rotifunk market in Lungi.

Abass Kamara is a resident of Robis, Lungi who informed that the electricity problem remains challenging and that a major risk is prevalent especially at night ‘more so with the absence of street lights.’

ESDA wouldn’t speak on the issue.
