In his capacity as Chairman of the Sierra Leone Police Council, Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has today held a brief but very important regional security meeting at the Regional Police Headquarters in Bo.

The meeting, which brought together senior police officers from Bo, Bonthe, Moyamba, and Pujehun, aimed to address key issues in policing, professionalism, and the ongoing police reform efforts.

Dr. Jalloh emphasized the significance of the Police Council in ensuring effective law enforcement and maintaining public order across the nation.

During the meeting, Dr. Jalloh highlighted the importance of the Sierra Leone Police Council’s oversight role, which includes promoting accountability and enhancing the operational capabilities of the police force.

He underscored the need for professionalism and effectiveness in policing to foster public trust and ensure community safety. The discussions also focused on the ongoing police reforms aimed at modernizing the force and improving its responsiveness to the needs of the communities it serves.

Vice President Jalloh expressed his gratitude to Assistant Inspector General Brima Kanneh, Regional Commander South, and other officers of the Sierra Leone Police for their candid and productive engagement.

He commended their dedication to upholding law and order and reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting the police in their reform initiatives, underscoring the crucial role of the Police Council in guiding and strengthening the police force to better serve the people in that region and the whole of Sierra Leone.
