As a result, the Authority is recruiting a suitably qualified and experienced applicant to fill the position of Assistant Director – Logistics & Maintenance, National Revenue Authority.
Position: Assistant Director – Logistics & Maintenance

Report to: Director of Administration, NRA
Responsible for: All Staff in the Unit
Start date: Effective immediately
Job Purpose: The Assistant Director – Logistics & Maintenance will, under the direct supervision of the Director of Administration, support in providing oversight, advisory and management responsibilities in the Authority’s Logistics & Maintenance Unit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support in supervising staff in the unit including drivers and office assistants
- Support in delegating tasks to staff in the unit and monitor daily operation
- Support in developing and promoting policies that ensure positive interaction between unit staff and other personnel
- Develop and manage changes to increase efficiency in the Authority
- Organize the workplace so that the workflow is streamlined
- Provide appropriate advice on all matters relating to the functions of the unit in the areas of logistics and supply chain, maintenance, assets, inventory and stores and security.
- Ensure maintenance of all Authority machinery, equipment, and assets
- Ensure efficient management of fleet and transportations
- Ensure the development and implementation of polices in the areas of logistics and supply chain, estate, maintenance, assets, inventory and stores and security

- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain, estate, maintenance, assets, inventory and stores and security management in Sierra Leone
- Ability to delegate and manage tasks to administrative staff and monitor daily operation

- Workplace organisation so that the workflow is streamlined.
- Knowledge and application of logistics, maintenance, assets, inventory and stores management of large organisation.
Qualifications and Work Experience:
- A minimum of a master’s degree from a recognized institution of higher learning in the field of Public Administration, Business Administration or related disciplines.
- Three (3) years of experience in administrative functions relating to logistics and supply chain, maintenance, assets, fleet and transportation, inventory and stores and security
