The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has instructed all club chairpersons, secretaries, and managers to nominate one Transfer Matching System (TMS) user for each men’s and/or women’s team before 10 July 2026.
The directive, issued through the Regional Secretary, Sheku Bilo Conteh, follows instructions from the SLFA TMS Manager to prepare clubs for the FIFA Transfer Matching System and the digital registration of players ahead of the next football season.
According to the notice, the nominated TMS user must be a direct employee of the club, have basic computer skills, and be able to work in at least one official FIFA language, including English, French, Arabic, or Spanish. The nominee must also not be an active TMS user for another organisation, a professional football player, or a football agent.
Clubs are required to submit the nominee’s full name, personal email address, and position within the club.
The SLFA said the TMS account will enable clubs to access the FIFA Transfer Matching System for international player transfers. It added that the association is moving all player registrations to a digital process, making TMS access compulsory for the upcoming league season.
Club officials have been instructed to send the required information via WhatsApp to the SLFA TMS Manager on +232 76 302756 not later than Friday, 10 July 2026.
Regional Secretary Sheku Bilo Conteh urged all clubs to comply with the deadline to ensure they are fully prepared for international transfers and the new digital player registration system.
