In a separate but related arrest during the same operation, officers apprehended suspect Mathew Hindowa with 74 wraps of suspected Kush in his possession at Malta Lane. All exhibits have been properly documented and secured as evidence for further investigation.

The Local Unit Commander, CSP Emmanuel Kpulun, commended the Operations Team for their vigilance, discipline, and swift action in dismantling what appears to be a significant drug distribution point. He reaffirmed the Division’s unwavering commitment to supporting the Regional Commander, AIG Brima Kanneh, in the ongoing crackdown on the proliferation of Kush and other harmful substances across the region.

This operation demonstrates our resolve to protect our communities from the devastating effects of drug abuse. We will continue to pursue those who trade in this deadly substance until every corner of our city is safe,
CSP Kpulun stated. The police have launched a manhunt for suspect Unisa Koroma alias “Maff”, and the case remains under active investigation.
