Fassah Marrah, a councillor residing at No. 63 Blama Road, Kenema City, appeared in Magistrate Court No. 2 in Kenema on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, presided over by Magistrate Wilbri Hamida M. John.

The accused, Fassah Marrah, faces two charges: wounding, contrary to Section 20 of the offences Against the Person Act 1861, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, contrary to Section 47 of the same Act.

According to the particulars of offence, on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at No. 7 Combema Road, Kenema City, Nongowa Chiefdom, Kenema Judicial District in the Eastern Province, the accused allegedly wounded Amara Saccoh. The incident reportedly resulted in actual bodily harm to the victim.

Marrah pleaded not guilty to both charges, he was granted bail, and the matter was adjourned to August 14, 2025, for further hearing, the case is being prosecuted by Police Constable (PC) 13536 Moseray Sylvester Alfred of the Legal and Justice Support Department, Kenema Police Division.
