President of FPU, Alhaji Umaru Sanu Barrie, said “it has been a remarkable gesture between the Fullah Progressive Union and the tribal administration” while stressing that the bond between the two organizations would continue while calling on other humanitarian organizations to support the needy especially during the holy  month of Ramadan.

According to Alhaji Umaru Sanu Barrie, many Muslims faced challenges and find it difficult to afford while they observe fasting, saying they have been doing it for the past four years to enable Muslims keep their fasting without much constrains. “This is for all Muslims during the month of Ramadan not only Fullahs. We target all tribes as long you are Muslim” he remarked. For him, he feels so proud in providing for the needy.

Making a statement, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Abdul Razak Bah, financial Secretary of FPU said for the past four years they have been consistent in supporting Muslims as they observe the holy month of Ramadan and this year the donation was about 1,050 bags of 25kg rice while thanking all donors for always supporting the organization.
