Junisa Alieu Sheriff, who was apprehended on Friday, January 24, 2025, by Ibrahim Kokowai Musa, a Journalist in Kenema, has been arraigned before Magistrate Shaka Kamara of Magistrate Court No.1 in Kenema for house breaking and larceny contrary to section 26(1) of the Larceny Act 1916.

The accused, Junisa Alieu Sheriff on Tuesday, January 23, 2025 at I.K. Musa Street in Kenema, Nongowa Chiefdom, Kenema Judicial District in the Eastern Province, broke and entered a dwelling house of Ibrahim Kokowai Musa and sold one blue sola valued at Three Thousand New Leones ((NLe 3,000), one black backpack valued at Eight Hundred New Leones (NLe 800), one memory stick valued at One Hundred New Leones (NLe 100), two wraps quarter rods valued at Three Hundred New Leones (NLe 300), half bag of rice valued at Four Hundred and Eighty New Leones ( NLe 480), half gallon of grained groundnuts valued at One Hundred and Fifty New Leones ( NLe 150) and a fiscal sum of Four Thousand, Two Hundred New Leones (NLe 4,200) all to the total valued of Nine Thousand, Three and Fifty Seven New Leones (NLe 9,357), which are properties of the said Ibrahim Kokowai Musa.

No plea was taken and the accused was remanded at the Sierra Leone Correctional Centre in Kenema. The matter was adjourned to February 3, 2025 for hearing. The matter was prosecuted by Police Sergeant 10734 Davis attached to the Legal and Justice Support Department at the Kenema Police Station.
