The Sierra Leone Netherlands friendship international high school,located at Rokel, east end of Freetown is set to celebrate its third anniversary with fundraising to offer scholarship to students.

In an exclusive interview with Yahya Kallon, the school manager who also doubles as the buser for the school sadi the day will mark the celebration of the foundation day of the school, every December 20, they celebrate the achievement made by the school, saying the motive is to talk about the school and motivate others especially community members and school operators and the children.

According to him, during the celebration there will Talent competition among students something will expose the students to public speaking. He said there are students whom the school management wants to offer scholarship to hence it will motivate other parents to send their children at the school, adding last year the school gives scholarships to two deserving students and this year they want to increase it to five.

Mr. Kallon said the school teaches foreign languages like French, Chinese something he said will give more job opportunities to the young people of the country after graduation. He emphasized that every year, the school want to increase the number of scholarships.

Yahya Kallon noted that “Other facilities in the school are computer labs that will expose young children to the World of technology” adding “The things drive the scholarship is to reduce dropout” he underscored

He called on community members and the general public to send their children to the school while emphasizing the importance of computer knowledge
