I wont Rest Untill Agriculture Become a Sustainable

During his visit today in Kailahun, Minister of Agriculture Dr. Henry Musa Kpaka made a passionate commitment, stating, “I cannot sleep until agriculture becomes a sustainable source for women and youth in Sierra Leone.”

This week, the Minister engaged several key stakeholders including farmers and local authorities nationwide, who are directly involved in feeding Sierra Leone. Their shared focus is on feeding and developing their communities through President Bio’s Feed Salone initiative.

Dr. Kpaka’s nationwide tour aims to listen firsthand to farmers’ concerns while promoting modern farming techniques, increasing access to financing, and building resilience to climate change. His proactive approach has been widely praised by farmers, who view him as a dedicated leader working tirelessly to bring about real, lasting change in the agricultural sector. His efforts are seen as crucial to the success of Feed Salone and achieving economic stability for Sierra Leone.

Through these direct interactions, Dr. Kpaka is not only raising awareness about innovative agricultural practices but also fostering a spirit of collaboration to strengthen Sierra Leone’s agriculture and empower its rural communities.
