At the High Court Holden in Kailahun Town, Luawa Chiefdom in the Kailahun District, the Presiding Judge, Hon. Justice Abdul Sheriff has Sentenced two Convicts: One for Life imprisonment and the other for Twenty years imprisonment on Murder charged. One Bobor Sahr of Kwekor village in the Kissy Tongi Chiefdom, Kailahun Judicial District, was found guilty of Murder by Justice Abdul Sheriff.
According to Daniel. P. Mansaray, State Counsel and Customary Law Officer in Kailahun District, the convict, Bobor Sahr on December 21, 2024, at Yengema Road, Kwekor village, Kissy Tungi Chiefdom in the Kailahun District, murdered one Fallah Kongor. The Defence Counsel, Samuel.S. Pessima Esq.of Legal Aid Board in Kailahun District, pleaded onbehalf of the convict, Bobor Sahr. He was sentenced to life imprisonment.
In another news, Falla Mingie of Lalehun Village, Penguia Chiefdom, Kailahun District was arraigned before Justice Abdul Sheriff for Murder. According to Daniel. p. Mansaray, Fallah Mingie on February 4, 2025, at Lalehun Village, Penguia Chiefdom, in Kailahun District, murdered Yawa Fallah Mingie his wife. Fallah in plea mitigation, told the court that his wife (Yawa Fallah) on the said date, prepared pepper soup for sale but only returned home after 1:00am. He said, fracas ensued them and that he ran after the deacesed on she fell into a hole where she lost her life. The Defence Counsel, Samuel.S. Pessima also pleaded onbehalf of the convict, Fallah Mingie. He was found guilty and sentenced to 20 years imprisonment.
