Two Defendants, Musa Sallia a comedian dwelling at Mambu Street in Kenema City and Amadu Junior Kamara a school pupil resident of Kpayama Section in Kenema have been committed to High Court for Trial by His Worship, Magistrate Hadiru Daboh of Magistrate Court No.1 in Kenema for Sexual Penetration (SP)of a child and for House Breaking and Larceny.
The charges were read to the Defendants by Ibrahim Tomboyeke the clerk of the court. The two Defendants were arraigned in Court on two different files. According to Mr. Tomboyeke, a Defendant, Musa Sallia arraigned before Magistrate Daboh for committing Sexual Penetration of a child contrary to section 19 of the sexual offences Act No.12 of 2012 as repealed and replaced by section 4 (a)(ii) of the Sexual offences’ amendment Act No.8 of 2019. He also informed the court that Musa Sallia alias pot-pot on January 30, 2026 at Mambu Street in Kenema, engaged in an act of SP with Ten years (10yrs.) old child. No plea was taken and he was remanded at the Sierra Leone Correctional Service (SLCS)in Kenema whilst the matter was committed to High Court for Trial.
A Defendant, Amodu Junior Kamara arraigned before Magistrate Daboh for House Breaking and Larceny contrary to section 26 subsection 1 of the Larceny Act 1916. Amodu Junior Kamara on February 15, 2026, at 28 Foyah Street in Kenema, broke and entered into the dwelling house of Mohamed Moseray and stole one power bank valued at Four Hundred and Sixty New Leones ( NLe 460), two Jean trousers valued at Six Hundred and Eighty New Leones (NLe 680), two shirts valued at Six Hundred and Eighty New Leones (NLe 680/00), fiscal sum of Forty United States Dollars (40 Dollars)which is equivalent to Nine Hundred and Seven New Leones (NLe 907/00) all to the total sum of Two Thousand, Seven Hundred and Twenty Seven New Leones (NLe 2,727/00), properties of Mohamed Moseray. No plea was taken and he was remanded at the (SLCC) in Kenema whilst the matter was Committed to High Court for Trial.
The matters were prosecuted by Woman Police Sergeant, Bakarr Watta and Inspector Alphan Samuel Musa attached to the Legal and Justice Support Department at the Kenema Police Station.
