Yesterday  in Conakry, Vice President Dr Juldeh Jalloh handed over three loads of Medical Supplies donated by the Government of Sierra Leone to the Guinean authorities to treat victims of the fire disaster that occurred in Conakry Sunday evening.

The donation was made at the Defense Headquarters to the Ministers of Internal Security and Health who are charged with the responsibility to manage the disaster.

Vice President Jalloh is leading three separate technical teams, including petroleum support, disaster management and medical personnel. Sources say there are plans to supply petroleum products to Guinea.

Guineans are overwhelmed with joy as officers lined up at the defense headquarters clapping and shouting the name of President Julius Maada Bio. Sierra Leoneans,  at home and in Guinea, are very proud of President Bio kind and timely intervention.

It could be recalled that, few days ago, a huge explosion at the main oil terminal in Guinea’s capital Conakry left several people dead and injured. Because of the seriousness of the disaster, schools were closed and affected persons evacuated.

The neighbouring gesture from Sierra Leone is appreciated by the Government and People of Guinea.
