His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio received Her Excellency Rasata Rafaravavitafika, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Madagascar and Special Envoy of His Excellency Andry Rajoelina, the President of Madagascar on Monday, 10th February, 2025.
The Special Envoy and her delegation were received at the Freetown International Airport, where they delivered a special message from President Andry Rajoelina to President Julius Maada Bio.
Expressing her pleasure in meeting President Bio, Her Excellency Rasata Rafaravavitafika conveyed the sentiments of Madagascar’s government and people towards their Sierra Leonean counterparts.
In his response, President Julius Maada Bio expressed sincere appreciation for the visit from the Special Envoy and her team, extending gratitude to President Rajoelina for the designation of a Special. He pledged to foster a stronger bilateral relationship between the two nations, on behalf of the government and citizens of Sierra Leone, wishing for a prosperous partnership ahead.
