Eighteen years old (18yrs.) Lansana Konneh a Power saw operator has been committed to High Court in Kenema by his Worship, Magistrate Hadiru Daboh of Magistrate Court No.1 in Kenema for allegedly committing murder contrary to Law. The charges were read to him by Ibrahim Tomboyeke the clerk of the court. He further informed the court that a Defendant, Lansana Konneh on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Jenneh Town, Kandu Leppiama Chiefdom, Kenema Judicial District in the Eastern province of Sierra Leone, conspired with unknown individuals to commit a felony.
Lansana Konneh on the aforementioned date and Venue, allegedly murdered Abubakarr Lolleh. No. Plea was taken and he was committed to High Court in Kenema whilst remanded at the Sierra Leone Correctional Centre (SLCC) in Kenema.
In another development, Ibrahim Pieh a farmer of Bandajuma Torgboma village, age 31years, arraigned before Magistrate Daboh for an offence of murder contrary to Law. Mr. Tomboyeke also informed the court that a Defendant, Ibrahim Pieh was charged to Court for allegedly committing murder contrary to section 1 of the Offences against the Persons Act of 1861 as repealed and replaced by section 1 of the schedule of the abolition of the death penalty act of 2022. The Defendant on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in a oil palm plantation at Talia Torgboma Town, Nongowa Chiefdom, Kenema Judicial District in the Eastern province of Sierra Leone, allegedly murdered Amara Musa. No. plea was taken and he was remanded at the SLCC in Kenema. The matter was prosecuted by ASP Sulaiman Kamara and Inspector Alphan Samuel Musa both attached to Legal and Justice Support Department at the Kenema Police Station respectively.
