PROCUREMENT OF TEN (10) NEW VEHICLES FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS

The Ministry of Transport and Aviation is in the process of procuring Ten (10) new vehicles for Government Officials. The Ministry now invites sealed bids for the supply using International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures in line with the Public Procurement Act 2016 and the Public Procurement Regulations 2020.

Interested Bidders may obtain further information at the address below between the hours of 10:00A.M and 3: 00P.M before the deadline for submission. The Bidding document may be purchased upon payment of a non – refundable fee of One Thousand Leones (NLe. 1,000). Payment for the bidding document must be made to one of the accounts below and the Bank slip presented to the Ministry of Transport and Aviation for issuance of the bidding document by the Procurement Unit.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Monday 24th February 2025 at 12:00 noon.  All bids must be accompanied by:

  • Signed Bid Form, Price Schedule and Schedule of Requirement
  • A bid Security of not less than Nine Hundred and Ninety-Six Thousand Six Hundred and Sixty-Nine Leones (NLe. 996,669) from a reputable Commercial Bank
  • A Valid Tax Certificate from the National Revenue Authority
  • A Business Registration Certificate
  • A NASSIT Clearance Certificate
  • A Manufacturer Authorization
  • A Municipal Council Business Certificate
  • Evidence of experience in the supply of vehicles
  • A Brochure from the Manufacturer of the exact vehicles the bidder intends to supply
  • A signed Integrity Pact between the bidder and the Ministry; [see attached]

 

Bids will be opened publicly on Monday 24th February 2025 at 12:00 noon in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below.

 

Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to bidder.
