An accused, Abdul Rahman Jalloh of Burma 3 Section in Kenema has made his third appearance before the presiding High Court Judge, Hon. Justice Abubakarr Sannoh of the High Court in Kenema for Conspiracy and Murder contrary to Law
Abdul Rahman Jalloh on August 17,2024 at New England, Nyandeyama Section in Kenema, conspired with unknown persons to commit a felony to wit Murder. On the aforementioned date and place, the accused allegedly murdered Juldeh Jalloh.
At the high court holding in Kenema on November 28, 2024, a witness, Fatima Sow was cross- examined by the court. Fatima Sow now witness in court was the first accused in Conspiracy matter at the time of going to court. She made four statements at the police station in Kenema before case was charged to Court. Her first statement on August 17, 2024, was produced and tendered in court as exhibit A1-17. Second statement was on August 20, was exhibit B12-23, Third statement on August 23 was exhibit E1-12 and the fourth statement was made on August 26, 2024.

Answer: yes. On that same day, you told the police that the accused in the Dock did not touch the deceased. Answer: yes. Q: if you see your statements to the police, would you recognise it? She answered yes. Q: do want your statements at the Police station to be part of the court’s documents? She said yes. The Defence Counsel responded to the statement on August 17, 2024 that you, Fatima Sow the first accused(witness) said that the second accused in the Dock, Abdul Rahman Jalloh, did not see the deceased. She answered yes. Q: on August 16, 2024, you called in an agreement with the deceased to come and pass a night with you before he proceeds to Liberia the following day. Yes, she answered. Q: you told the police in your statement that you saw the deceased and recognised him through the window when he knocked at the door. No, my lord, she denied.
Defence counsel, Victor.S.S.Ansumana made an application for his client the second accused to be granted bail but Judge over-ruled. The matter was adjourned to December 5, 2024.
