CSP Emmanuel Kpulun, Local Unit Commander (LUC) of the Harbour Police Division, bolstered community safety by donating raincoats and food items to Community Safety Volunteer (CSV) members from Moeba, Kissy Brook, and Mount Aureol communities. On Saturday, July 19, 2025, The brief ceremony, held at the Harbour Police Station, highlighted the importance of equipping volunteers for effective night patrols during the rainy season.
The donations comprised durable raincoats and essential food supplies to enhance the welfare of CSV members during their patrols. CSP Kpulun commended the volunteers’ dedication, encouraging continued collaboration with the police and heightened vigilance in their roles.
CSV representatives thanked the LUC for the support, describing it as a significant morale boost and reaffirming their commitment to community safety.
This initiative aligns with the Sierra Leone Police’s vision of strengthening community policing through partnerships and local engagement.
