VP Jalloh

Sierra Leone’s Vice President, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has paid a two-day visit to the Republic of Liberia.

During the visit, Dr. Juldeh Jalloh met with the President of Liberia, His Excellency President Joseph NyumaBoakai, and his Vice President Jeremiah Kpan Koon.

Dr. Juldeh Jalloh also had the opportunity to engage the Sierra Leone Community as well as the staff of the Embassy in Liberia.

Vice President Juldeh Jalloh was also a special guest at the Maiden Presidential State of the Nation Address at the Capitol building, Capitol Hill in Monrovia.

In his address, President Joseph NyumaBoakai acknowledged the special message from His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio.

His address focused on social capital development, infrastructure and good governance.

On his official Facebook handle, Vice President Jalloh wrote:

“It was an honour to be invited as a special guest for President Joseph Boakai’s first-ever State of the Nation Address before the Joint Session of the 55th Legislature in Monrovia.

“I was particularly pleased when he acknowledged the historical connection between our two sister countries, and his commitment to strengthening bilateral relations. We look forward to working with the government and people of Liberia on many fronts including revamping the Mano River Union, strengthening and protecting border communities and expanding the corridor of trade.

Sierra Leone stands firmly with the government and people of Liberia. Thank you, President Joseph Boakai, I wish you and your new team all the best.”
