TECH – The people of Kaffu Bullom Chiefdom, Lungi are beginning to ask several questions again. They have told me that if the Lungi Bridge is yet to materialize, EDSA should not continue to be a problem in the community. Electricity is badly needed in that part of the country at least for the sake of our only international airport. I hope we’d not have to be talking about this more often!
Again TECH, are you following up with all of what is happening at the University of Sierra Leone? From leadership tussle to new and unpopular policies etc. To cut this short, USL should have some rethink. That place deserves sanity and not uncertainty. If the Ministry of Technical and Higher Education cannot watch over things, a dire remedy is surely needed and the time is NOW!
Dear TECH – What is happening with all of the street parking in major streets in Freetown to be specific? Are we suggesting that every street is now a parking space especially during the day? From Campbell Street to Siaka Steven Street, the vehicles are all over the place. Come to Dwarzark junction by Winners’ Chapel and see how hundreds of vehicles parade the streets; obstructing vehicular movements etc. Surely now, we need more sanity in the city. SLRSA, SLP – What is going on?
And Just Lastly for today TECH – Kid Traders during school hours – I keep seeing a few kids in the streets selling pittance even when schools are in session. I thought we are still on FREE QUALITY EDUCATION? What is happening with the implementation? If some parents or guardians are treating things with levity, what is the basic education ministry doing in such regard?
