Dear Tech, Happy New Year in Advance, but since we are still in December, I have seen the need to remind our banking industry about the need to be prudent and professional in the dispensation of their duties. The bank should be a place to do quick transactions, not a place to spend the rest of the day. May I therefore urge that our compatriots do things with precision, but also bearing in mind that people have other things to do?
TECH – Have you been following up on what some schools in and out of town refer to as ‘End of Year Activity?’ Whiles others have greatly comported themselves, I cannot say the same for a good number of others. Some of the pupils now use such occasions to openly embark on vices. How terrible! Worse case, some of these things are happening right in the presence of school authorities and sometimes even within school premises. We all could do better! The schools, the parents, the PUPILS!
Again Tech, the universities have decided to increase fees! Whiles this has been the case, can we equally urge these unis to better their services? This is very important. Parents cannot pay those huge sums and still their children having to fight to get tables and chairs to take classes. In fact, there are talks about some students having to stand if at all chairs and tables are no where to be seen. Universities, please fix these issues now just as how you have increased the FEES.
