Jacob Anthony Lahai Tarlowoh, a distinguished graduate engineer from Fourah Bay College and the current Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Institution of Engineers (SLIE), is a candidate of substance for the position of Deputy Secretary General of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).
With a commanding presence and the aura of a natural-born leader, Jacob is tall, charismatic, intelligent, and approachable. A proud alumnus of the prestigious Albert Academy Secondary School, his roots span both northern and southern Sierra Leone, enabling him to bridge tribal and regional divides with ease.
Jacob’s professional journey is equally impressive. He has worked at the U.S. Embassy in Freetown, served as a lecturer at Milton Margai Technical University, and worked as a consultant engineer with the Peace Corps. He has successfully managed development projects worth thousands of dollars and currently sits on the board of one of the country’s key government agencies.
Now in the prime of his life, Jacob brings to the SLPP the youthful energy and commitment echoed by President Julius Maada Bio. His dedication, work ethic, and deep sense of responsibility would be a valuable asset to the party.
A staunch and loyal SLPP member, Jacob has consistently demonstrated unwavering support for the party at both national and international levels. His patriotism is evident in his decision to return home after studying and working in the United States, choosing to invest his knowledge and experience in Sierra Leone’s progress.
Jacob Anthony Lahai Tarlowoh is not just a capable candidate he is the kind of committed, dynamic, and visionary leader the SLPP needs as its next Deputy Secretary General.
