Inspector Geenral of Police, Willaim Fayia Sellu has confirmed the arrest of one of the ring leaders of the Nov 26th, 2023 failed Coup d’etat. He said that the former military officer, former AFRC Minister and member of the APC party George Adams was arrested in Makeni by the Sierra Leone Police (SLP).
George Adams was arrested together with the Vice Chancellor of EBK University, Dr. Moses Moris Kargbo and his caretaker Saidu Kargbo at his residence in Makeni.
The suspects are helping the police with investigations.
