Panic and tears filled the air at Mountain Cut Junction this evening, the 20th October 2025, after a tragic accident left a man fighting for his life.

Eyewitnesses watched in horror as a speeding truck rammed into the victim, severing one of his legs instantly, within seconds, what began as an ordinary day for many turned into a heart-wrenching scene of screams, confusion, and desperation.

Good Samaritans rushed to the man’s aid, some using their own clothing to stop the bleeding before an ambulance arrived, it was terrible to watch, said one eyewitness, visibly shaken, the truck came too fast, and before we knew it, the man was on the ground crying in pain.
