The Acting Coordinator of the Complaints, Discipline and Internal Investigations Department (CDIID) for the Freetown-East Region, D/CpL 15151 Tommy Richard, convened a meeting with Commanders and departmental heads at the Grafton Police Station to promote stronger collaboration and accountability within the region’s policing framework.

On Thursday, August 21, 2025, his address, Acting Coordinator Tommy Richard underscored the critical need for enhanced cooperation between the CDIID Unit at Grafton and other regional divisions. He emphasized that such collaboration is essential for streamlining administrative processes and alleviating operational pressures on the Freetown-East Regional Headquarters, ultimately leading to more efficient service delivery.

Following a brief inspection of the cells and holding center at the Grafton Police Station, the Acting Coordinator reiterated his call for unwavering commitment to discipline and accountability among officers. He affirmed that the CDIID remains accessible and dedicated to fostering teamwork to enhance policing standards across the region.

ASP Nat Kelly, Support Officer, expressed his full support for the initiative, pledging to work closely with the CDIID to ensure effective accountability and strengthen operational synergy.
