As Muslims across the World continue to observe and fast the holy Month of Ramadan, many want to extend charity and acts of goodness to others!
The holy month of Ramadan is not just a Month of fasting, it is also the month in which Muslims across the World believe the holy Quran was revealed to guide mankind. During fasting, Muslims reflect, increase their devotion, and deepen their connection with Allah.
On Sunday, March 16, 2025, Sulaiman Jalloh, Expo Time’s parliamentary reporter, hosted an Iftar at his residence in Jui, East end of Sierra Leone’s capital, Freetown. This Iftar underscores his commitment to working with Allah and sharing with the little he has.
Dozens of believers joined the fast-breaking, thus reflecting generosity with the people he crossed paths with. “Whoever provides food for a fasting person to break his fast, will have a reward of theirs, without distracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest”, Sunnah al-Tirmidhi says
“The event was not just a remarkable event that showcases unity but a testament to the steadfast faith that exists between us,” Jalloh started while appreciating the wonderful turnout, something he said makes the event a story of success.
Imams and elders, including young people who graced the program, thanked him for hosting such an Islamic event.
