Entertainment Ambassador Makes Progress

In an ambitious move to boost the creative arts industry, behind the scenes, the Ambassador of Entertainment, Ambassador Kao Denero has been actively collaborating with various partners to ensure the implementation of the National Auditorium project, aimed to establish a state-of-the-art auditorium that promises to become a central hub for cultural and entertainment events.

The Government’s commitment to enriching the creative arts industry is evident, as the Ministry of Lands allocates a significant parcel of land at 6 Mile axis, a strategic location as it’s an Industrial Zone that is poised to become a cultural epicentre, drawing both local and international attention.

The National Auditorium project is not just about constructing a building but is seen as a pivotal development that will provide a platform for artists to showcase their talents, host international acts, support the local entertainment industry, and overall contribute to the economic growth of the country. The facility is expected to include cutting-edge sound and lighting technologies, ample seating, and modern amenities to accommodate a wide range of events, from concerts and theatre productions to exhibitions and conferences.

Earlier today, 25th April 2024, the Ambassador of Entertainment, Land Surveyors from the Ministry of Land, Consultant, Construction Engineer, and other stakeholders paid a visit to the aforementioned location to assess the land.

The date for the groundbreaking ceremony – the official unveiling of the said land is expected to be announced shortly. This ceremony will mark a significant milestone in the project, symbolizing the beginning of a new era for the creative arts in the region.
