Distinguished academic and educator, Dr. Hamza Bangura has left for the United States for a thrilling and resource driven engagement that could boost and enhance quality education back in Sierra Leone.

Dr. Hamza is headed to Boston Massachusetts on the invitation of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) which is arguably the best Science, Innovation and Technology University in the world for almost a decade now.

Dr. Hamza will be representing Njala University and the Government of Sierra Leone at this year’s  JAMEEL WORLD EDUCATION LAB WEEK and on the sidelines of this great event of Academics, Professors and Researchers in the field of Science, Innovation and Technology for the first will develop a curriculum on Artificial Intelligence for University Education which is also a great opportunity to also be nominated by Njala University.

Dr. Hamza used the opportunity to thank and appreciate the Head of Department, Computer Science and Information Technology, the Dean, School of Technology and the Vice Chancellor and Principal, Njala University for endorsing his candidature to MIT.

Back home, Dr. Hamza is expected to aid in improving standards in line with best practices.
