During an engagement at the boardroom of the Sierra Leone Water Company (SALWACO), it was disclosed that government has secured support from FCDO for the development of National Infrastructure Pipeline Projects in Sierra Leone.
Already, government has engaged the services of Adam Smith International to provide technical expertise.
The purpose of the meeting is to have discussions with the consultants on issues relating to data, insights and other relevant information relevant and relating to the WASH sector so as to aid the development of the pipeline projects.
Other representatives included, the Guma Valley Water Company (GVWC), National Water Resources Management Agency (NWRMA) and the Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation (MoWRS), among others. SALWACO was represented by the Director of Research, Planning and Policy, Saffa SK Bockarie, Regional Manager East, Ing. Lansana Ba-Sawi, Stakeholders’ and Media Relations Manager, Mary Mansaray Ngegba, Operations Manager, Ing. Abu Kallon, M&E Manager, Mohamed Sankoh, Senior Communications Officer, Sheku Putka Kamara, Senior Engineer, attached to MD’s office, Ing. Sillah and Chrisla Koroma, Planning and Policy Officer.
