The Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs, Hon. Patrick Michaelson Gibrilla, has reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the vision of President Julius Maada Bio’s administration by prioritizing real investments that deliver tangible results for Sierra Leone.
Widely regarded as one of the youngest yet most visible political leaders both nationally and internationally, Hon. Gibrilla embodies the government’s “Tok n Do” (Talk and Do) slogan through action-oriented leadership. His growing influence underscores his role as a rising political figure committed to shaping the country’s future.
Speaking in an exclusive interview earlier today, the Deputy Youth Minister stated “I don’t bring investors; I bring investment.”
This bold declaration reflects his philosophy of focusing on results rather than promises. Instead of stopping at conversations and photo opportunities, Hon. Gibrilla says his goal is to secure investments that directly improve the lives of Sierra Leoneans.
In recent months, he has been actively engaged in international forums and bilateral discussions, meeting with global peers and senior officials to explore opportunities that could transform youth development, job creation, and sustainable growth in Sierra Leone.
Hon. Gibrilla continues to work closely with his senior, the Minister of Youth Affairs, Mohamed Orman Sannoh, whose steadfast leadership has inspired him to take bold steps in representing the ministry and the government on the global stage. Together, they share a mission of equipping Sierra Leone’s youth with the tools and opportunities needed to thrive both during President Bio’s tenure and beyond.
As the country faces pressing challenges of unemployment and economic transformation, the Deputy Minister’s proactive approach signals a new direction for youth leadership: one that is focused on turning vision into reality through measurable investments.
