E.U. lauds A.U. for historic continental free trade pact, pledges support

Fassah Marrah, a councillor residing at No. 63 Blama Road in Kenema City, appeared on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, before Magistrate Court No. 2 in Kenema, presided over by Magistrate Wilbri Hamida M. John.

The accused was charged with two offences: wounding, contrary to section 20 of the offences Against the person Act of 1861, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, contrary to Section 47 of the same Act.

According to the particulars of offence, on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at No. 7 Combema Road, Kenema City, Nongowa Chiefdom, in the Kenema Judicial District, Eastern Province, the accused maliciously wounded one Amara Saccoh. It is alleged that Marrah’s actions caused Saccoh actual bodily harm.

The accused pleaded not guilty to both charges. He was granted bail, and the matter was adjourned to August 14, 2025, for hearing.

The prosecution is being led by Police Constable (PC) 13536 Moseray Sylvester Alfred, attached to the Legal and Justice Support Department at the Kenema Police Division.
