The Choir of the National Pentecostal Church at Congo Cross in Freetown, on the 27th
September, 2025, hosted the ‘Fatmata Bayinka Trophy’ at the Congo Cross playing field.
The football competition is organised in honor of Mrs. Fatmata Baby Bayinka, a devoted member of the church who is also a philanthropist, residing in the United States of America.
Team Samuel Bendu will lockhorn with Team Sheku Kamara and the winning team will go home with an awesome prize.
The event brings together a lot of excitement to improve the community outreach, fellowship and character development.
Families, friends and individuals who might not be interested in attending church services will be attracted by the game.
Fatmata Bayinka is among the key supporters of the Church and the football competition is in appreciation of her contribution to the church and other local communities.
“This honorary football match competition will be followed by the 55th Anniversary Celebration of the choir on Sunday 28th September 2025 at the glorious National Pentecostal Church Congo Cross at 9:30 am divine service.
The theme for this occasion is ” All things work together for good to them that love God ” ( Romans 8:28)
The Preacher for the said occasion is Pastor Mrs. Halima Miracle Kamara, confirmed one of the organizers.
