Sierra Leone’s Chief of Defense Staff, Ministry of Defense, Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) Major General Idara Bangura has elaborated on a lot of development related issues for RSLAF.

He was speaking to a cross section of military personnel at Wilberforce in Freetown on the occasion of engaging personnel on development related matters.

He said that there is a plan to establish the first ever command and staff college, adding that peace keeping mission and health facilities would also be improved.

He said that RSLAF now boasts of strategic leadership. He said that the commercialization of the military will be a step in the right direction, adding that to depend on government alone is not always cool.

CDS Idara said that his administration will adopt public-private partnerships and to see that the best possible results are achieved.
