The Presiding Magistrate, His Worship, Magistrate Hadiru Daboh of Magistrate Court No.1 in Kenema has Sentenced Thirty year (30yrs.) old Abdulai Sandy Saidu a bike rider, resident of Kpetema Section in Kenema for fraudulent conversion. A Defendant, Abdulai Sandy Saidu, was charged to Court for Committing fraudulent conversion contrary to section 20 subsection 1 (iv) (b) of the Larceny Act 1916.

Abdulai Sandy Saidu on Monday, February 13, 2026 at Kpetema Section in Kenema, Nongowa Chiefdom, Kenema Judicial District in the Eastern province of Sierra Leone, fraudulently converted to his own use and benefit certain property that’s to say one blue Star TVS Motorcycle valued Twenty-five Thousand New Leones (NLe 25,000/00) entrusted to him by Prince Alpha for the purpose of Commercial riding.

The Defendant was apprehended and charged to Court on March 28, 2026. He pleaded guilty and begged for mercy.

The Defendant, Abdulai Sandy Saidu was sentenced to one year(1yr.) imprisonment at the Sierra Leone Correctional Centre (SLCC) in Kenema or pay the sum in the file.

The matter was prosecuted by Police Inspector, Alphan Samuel Musa, attached to the Legal and Justice Support Department in the Kenema Police Division.
