Qualification and Experience
- Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Policy, Business Administration or related field or ACCA with at least ten years minimum experience, five of which should have been in the role of a trainer in an audit institution.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicant must possess the following:
- Knowledge of public sector auditing.
- Knowledge of the International public sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and the International Standards for supreme, Audit Institutions (ISSAIs).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power point, Word & Excel.
- Proven record of conducting research and developing training materials.
- Trainer
- Excellent communication skill
Summary of Duties:
The Training Manager is in charge of the Training Division. The post holder is responsible for designing and facilitating programmes that address the needs of the Audit Service Sierra Leone (ASSL).
The Training Manager will also be responsible for reviewing and updating the Training Policy and develop a Training plan for the audit service Sierra Leone. Additionally, the post holder will carry out training needs analyses as a means to addressing skills gap and develop training or learning materials for use in all training sessions.
